What will the forum look like and how will it work? This forum will be run by its members via themed lounges. You decide what tips you want to share, which questions and topics to post. Zoex Europe simply acts as the free host of the space.

Who is the forum for? The networking forum is for all GC and GCxGC analysts - no matter the level of experience - are permitted to use the forum. You can log in any time you wish direct from your desk, and feel free to post an answer to anybody else´s questions. Communicate as often as you desire - between sample runs, lunchtime or after hours. 

How will I identify myself? I don´t wish to use my name or companies name! When registering using a simple one-step process, you create your own identifier name which you will use to represent you in the forum. No personal or company names are permitted to be used on the forum for privacy reasons. We all remain anonymous!

What information will be displayed about me? Only information relevant to other analysts will be displayed on the forum. At registration you are informed of which information will be displayed, and which will not. Other analysts can view your specialism, your country of lcoation, see how many times you have logged in and been a member - using icons. We also use icons to communicate your status including the amount of times you log in.

What about a profile page? Once you have tried out the forum and got comfortable with using it, you will be invited after 3 log ins to host your own free profile page if you so desire, enabling other members to get to know more about you. If you identify yourself as an expert, you are also permitted to become a member of the GC & GCxGC masters panel in which you can agree to be identified as a master to other analysts, and are occasionally invited to directly host a discussion to a member target audience, and participate in related events organised by the editor.

What languages will the topics be in? We kindly ask to keep everything in English - as it facilitates participation across Europe and beyond. 

Want to create a room? For example, in your region of Europe or beyond? Email the editor with details and the target audience here editor@zoexeurope.eu. Every once in a while we will organise a meeting for analysts in different regions of Europe. So feel free to invite team members and colleagues in other laboratories to come and join (then you have a good excuse to meet up!) 

    Rules:

  1. All participants must register to use. Analysts will use choose an anonymous ID name to identify themselves. Only certain parameters will be displayed on-line as indicated in the registration form for privacy reasons.
  2. Please avoid offensive language.
  3. Analysts are free to express their GC experiences as they wish. We kindly ask you to exercise some discretion when talking about any branded products or technologies - the forum is not a place to either promote or demote particular brands.
  4. No soliciting of products or commercial services is permitted on this forum. If you have something of educational interest to announce, please forward to the editor at editor@zoex.eu for decision to upload.
  5. Please write in English then other members can join in.
  6. That´s it!
